It's Winter!

It's finally looking like winter and I couldn't be happier right now. I've got my christmas music playing all over the house, Jack frost is using my windows as his painting canvas, I'm attempting to do my own art, and my oven is getting put to great use. I love this time of the year!

Karmyn! Karmyn!!

I feel like I'm constantly calling her name all day long. Now that she's crawling every where, trying to climb the stairs (caught her up on the third one yesterday), and digging in everything she's not supposed to, it's a lot harder to keep track of where she is. She moves so fast! I need to get one of those cameras that I can attach to her so I can see on a little screen where she's heading. Even though I try to keep her in my sight at all times, she's a sneaky one and tends to disappear quickly. And to think I'm going to have two of these?

(Yes she climbed up on top of this rubbermaid bin all by herself.. little monkey!)

I Can't Believe I Forgot!

Karmyn's two bottom teeth broke through on Thanksgiving day! They still aren't there enough to be able to get a picture or even a good view but they are definitely there! She's constantly pushing her tongue in and out of her mouth. It must feel pretty strange to her. Amazingly, she hasn't been very fussy. She is every once in awhile but, that really isn't something new. They must be bothering her in the evenings though because she really hasn't been sleeping well. It's like she thinks she's taking little naps all night long and she wakes up from all those naps ready for the day. It's hard not to get frustrated with her in the middle of the night. I'm trying my hardest to show her some sympathy but when I'm so tired I can hardly stand, it makes it difficult to not want to let her figure it out on her own and crawl back under the covers.

Happy Thanksgiving!

What am I most thankful for? I am so very much thankful that my little growing family is happy and healthy. I feel very blessed that I wake up every morning knowing that we're all ok. We may not be the most well off people you will meet, but we have the essentials. I have a loving a husband who has a secure job that is able to provide us with a roof over our heads and food in our bellies. I have a beautiful little girl who wakes up every morning so happy to see her mama and asking for her daddy. She makes me smile every day. Then as if I'm not lucky enough, I have this tiny little being growing so strong and rapidly in my belly.

Most important of all, we have a lot of love.

Just For Fun

We had Ali K. take some family pictures for us this past Saturday. Here are just a couple of them. I had really wanted to get some family photos done of just the three of us before we become the four of us. I can't believe that we were able to take outside pictures this late in November without there being any snow! It's definitely a strange season for us this year.

I love the headband that Karmyn is wearing. I got it from my cousin Amanda K. Her and some of her family just opened up a shop on Etsy. It's called Circle Boutique. You should check it out, they have some really cute stuff on there.

Christmas

It's been on my mind for the past two weeks. I'm super excited about it this year! I almost have all of Karmyn's shopping done. Everyone else, I'm still thinking of ideas. I keep coming up with some good ones but then change my mind a few hours later.

I can't wait to start hearing christmas music on the radio. And if we got some snow anytime soon, I really would not complain!
